✨A New Australian Musical by Shine Performing Arts Academy

On the back of the success of the inaugral season of in 2025, Shine Performing Arts Academy proudly presents 'When the Wind Blew' — fully re-invisioned and re-imagined for Redcliffe coming to the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre in December 2026.

​

This vibrant, family-friendly Australian production tells the story of Hazel, a young sugar glider who is afraid to glide. When a fierce storm separates her from her family, Hazel must summon her courage and discover her true strength to make her way back home. Along the way, she meets a cast of lovable Australian animals, each bringing the bush to life through song, dance, and story.

Already recognised beyond our shores, the musical arrangements from 'When the Wind Blew' were recently seen in NYC and have people talking.

 

With its uplifting message about acceptance, resilience, and embracing diversity, 'When the Wind Blew' is set to leave a lasting impact on children and adults alike.
